A private app for one household. It keeps the house's matters in one place with their sources, watches quietly, proposes the next useful step, and acts only on exact approval.
Household commitments scatter across email, texts, calendars, receipts, shopping lists, maintenance records and memory. The burden is not writing each fact down. It is remembering what they imply, noticing what changed, and knowing when something actually needs doing. Daybook does the clerking: captures, orders and returns, deadlines, tasks and projects, shopping, the cars, the pets, the plants and the home, each tracked to its true endpoint with the source that says so.
It also keeps a commonplace book, Commonplace, for ideas and decisions worth finding again, with every passage cited to where it was said.

An illustration with invented data. Every line names its source and says only what the source says.
Every item opens its record, and the record shows where it came from and when it was last checked.
A stale source says it is stale. A quiet inbox is reported as a quiet inbox, never as a check that failed.
Edits apply at once with undo. Anything that leaves the house, an email or a calendar change, shows its exact contents and waits for one clear yes.
Add, complete, snooze, correct, search and approve all work through plain controls. The assistant proposes; it never decides. With the model off, everything else still works.
One owner, on the owner's own Mac and phone. No public service, no account to sign up for, nothing read without being asked.
In development. Daybook is being built for one household first, and is not available to download or to join. This page will say so when that changes.
